Shakespeare’s sharpest battle of wits: love, pride, and despair.
Much Ado About Nothing is one of Shakespeare’s sharpest comedies.
It is fast, funny and packed with captivating characters.
At its centre are two people, Benedick and Beatrice, who swear they are not interested in love, then fall headlong into it.
Around them whirl jealousies, deceit, more couples-in-out-in-love (Hero and Claudio); plus the kind of joyful chaos that only Shakespeare can craft.
Our 2026 production brings this to life with pace and clarity. The play mixes wit, romance and a few well-aimed emotional punches. It is a story about pride, trust, and people getting in their own way. Most of all, it is great fun to see on stage!
If you want a summer evening that feels lively and smart, come and enjoy this classic battle of wits. Tickets will be available soon.

We’ll be performing this in August 2026, with more details to follow.
